Panzarella History

Panzarella Appraisals is a direct offshoot of A.J. Panzarella Real Estate.  A. J. Panzarella Real Estate was established just after 1943 by Attilio and Joseph Panzarella, brothers.  Originally it was located in Ozone Park Queens and later also with offices in Howard Beach, and Rosedale, in the county of Queens.  The business grew through the 1950's to the 1980's.  Along the way Ozone Park was closed, in favor of the newer activities in Howard Beach, just north of Jamaica Bay, Queens, the Rosedale office was sold in the late 1990's.  The Howard Office is still in operation, housed in an office complex owned by Arthur SR. and now managed by the son of one of the original partners Joe Panzarella.

Panzarella Appraisal began by Arthur Panzarella about 1962, and active ever since.  Arthur appraised property both residential and commercial, primarily in New York's five boroughs and on special assignment in large area of the upstate regions north and west of the city.  In 1977, leaving the active Realty behind, Arthur left New York, and migrated to Arizona.  The state was having a growth of land speculators and heavy residential development.  Arthur spent the greater part of his time from 1977 to 1983 working on various U.S. Government projects.  Since 1983 while still very active with government involved mortgages he began Panzarella & Associates a loose arrangement of several local appraisers working mostly Maricopa county, but also providing service to clients in other Arizona Counties.

Arthur Jr. had worked part time with his father through his high school years.  After  college joined the business fulltime in 1986.  Later, another son, Robert who had also been an intern with both his father and brother began full time appraising about 1990.  Panzarella and Associates operates from it's main office in Scottsdale, Arizona.  Each appraiser also operates independently from their homes, as convenient "field offices".  Other appraisers also work for and with the operation from time to time.  Panzarella & Associates shares space with, Realty Providers, a brokerage owned and operated by Arthur Jr., appraisals are also completed under the banner for specific clients.

The continued presence of Arthur and the Panzarella Brothers is assured for some time.  The younger Panzarella continue to add to the client base.  Arthur is active and usually handles the high dollar properties, difficult, specialized properties, and review assignments.   Arthur Senior although now retired from active daily appraisal work, is still available for consultation and is now most active with various Real Estate Investment activities.
